Rev up your metabolism with these waistline-whittling foods. These delicious foods really do boost your metabolism rate and help you burn fat. The key is to incorporate them all into your regular diet and eat every four to five hours.
Even if you eat all these foods all day long, you won’t match the calorie burn of a good workout. But combining the two gives a double whammy effect, which really will get that metabolism firing!
How can asparagus be a "negative energy" food! I love the theory though- and the taste, so I will just eat more!
It's basic common sense really - lean meats, dairy, vegetables and fruit, all in moderation. Just healthy eating then!
I don't imagine any of these foods will boost your metabolism going more than a tiny amount. The main thing - as usual - is to focus on exercise. That's where the real big calorie burning is going to happen.
I never expected to see cheese on this list - I didn't think there were many (or any!) benefits to cheese aside from it tasting amazing!
I've heard about almonds and almond butter. I think nuts in general are pretty good for you.
Lemons! Who'd have thought.... And cider vinegar? So anything acidic then!
These are all healthy foods which you should eat regularly anyway. Honestly, don't don't try to micro manage your metabolism. Just eat healthy and go to the gym!
Apple cider vinegar is something I've read a lot about lately. It has lots of health benefits so it's worth taking a teaspoon or so a day anyway, cos it's certainly going to help with some health issue, even if it doesn't work much for metabolism. I get mine from Waitrose.
Glad to see cheese and tuna on the list as I eat a lot of these. Anything which helps burn fat when I'm not trying is worth eating in my opinion.
Fantastic - I happen to like all these foods. And hitting 40 means I am probably going to need them too as the fat piles on!
