Last entry 30 minutes before closing. Emperors Health Club and Gym is operated by Thwaites, as a part of Middletons Hotel, and is now the longest-running health club in York. The venue has cardiovascular machines, resistance machines, an impressive array of free-weights and lots of fantastic classes. You'll see Emperors hangs on to its history and endearing character with the building keeping many of its original features but also has a fashionable and modern quality. The fitness classes are a great way to stay in shape and meet new people. The venue offers a variety of classes, legs, bums and tums sessions are great for toning up and the circuit session really gets the heart beating, and indoor cycling is the perfect high-intensity cardio session. You can attend full-body conditioning classes that targets all the major muscle groups. Strength and tone is a perfect way to sculpt lean muscle and increase overall strength and flexibility by incorporating a variety of bodyweight exercises and equipment.
