Health Club: Option 4The Point at Polzeath offers a range of top-notch fitness and leisure facilities. Here you can have a good workout, a relaxing swim, and enjoy the stunning views over the coast towards Pentire Point.
The main pool is 20m long with a shallow toddler area at one end making it safer to bring small ones and children not as confident with swimming. The pool has a constant depth of 1.35 meters and the temperature is maintained to be 29-30°C. Close to the pool there are jacuzzi, steam room and sauna.
The gym is fully fitted with Matrix cardio and resistance equipment which is safe and easy to use. There is also a good free weights selection to add variety to your training. The gym is fully air-conditioned, light and airy with up-to-date workout music to keep you motivated.
The range of equipment includes Treadmills, Cross trainers, Recumbent bikes, rowers, a stepper, upright bike in addition to 15 spinning bikes) and climber.
There are also Leg abductors, a Back extension, Peck fly/reverse fly, Lat pulldown, Leg extension, Leg curl, Leg press and Squat rack.
Dumbbells in the free weights area range from 2kg to 40kg in 2kg increments. There are also 20kg Olympic barbells with various plate weights from 1.25kg up to 25kg.
Additionally, various fitness aids such as Medicine balls, Bosu balls, Swiss balls, Steps, Resistance bands, Kettle bells, Mats and Skipping ropes.
The qualified and friendly instructors are on hand to help. They will be happy to demonstrate safe use of all the equipment provided and can even come up with a personal programme to follow based on your individual needs.
At an extra cost you can enjoy a game of golf or tennis. The Point at Polzeath has two outdoor tennis courts and an 18-hole golf course with spectacular views towards the sea.

Have been to this facility a few times recently when visiting the area. Ideal if you are looking for a simple day pass which gives you access to gym and pool.

Friendly staff. Class variety was good even during a period where they were short staffed. Excellent spin classes with a great view to take your mind off the pain. changing rooms are very hot and a little cramped but the gym is excellent generally - a great find. I was very happy. even tried TRX.

Super helpful and friendly staff. only using this gym for a week while on holiday and it has been perfect. The spin classes especially have been tough and the TRX also good. The changing rooms and pool area are far too hot for me but the gym has been awesome.

The gym was only adequate and the swimming pool was nice- as a result I would imagine that there are stronger parts of their business than this

Was looking for a swimming pool with sauna and steam room in the Padstow area and this proved to be excellent for what we needed.
