About this gym

Prior to attending the gym, please message 07809018696 with the passcode. Once a response has been confirmed, you'll then be able to get access to the gym. Advisable to message 1 hour prior to arrival. Open gym access is on 40 Aberfeldy Street. If the gym is closed, please speak to a member of staff across the road at 29 Aberfeldy Street to get access to 40 Aberfeldy Street. Aberfeldy boxing club was started on Millennium Green by Kirk Whitelock A successful local resident and businessman with a string of successful businesses. He noticed there was a lack of activities for the children and youth of Aberfeldy to take part in, so started running a weekly boxing session outdoors. Kirk then bought Daryl Greenslade on board to help with the club. Daryl, a qualified teacher started helping with the sessions, and with the two of them, it grew from there. Fast forward a few years (and a few makeshift homes), by the end of 2019 Aberfeldy Boxing Club was given the keys to their very own unit at 29 Aberfeldy Street. The gym now has two units, holds open gym sessions, amateur sessions, as well as adult, keep fit and children’s sessions. Kirk and Daryl, along with Keron and the other staff are still keen to speak to all members and view the gym as a safe haven and hub for all members and actively engage with the community.
