This site has a massive 111 workout stations so you’ll never need to queue. They have a wide variety of equipment including cardio machines, resistance machines and an extensive free weights collection. If you want to workout alongside others then there a large number of classes taking place here every week. There is also a 5 court and 1 court sports hall available for hire. These may not be included in your pass so please speak to a member of staff for more details.
Away from the gym floor, you’ll find a 25m swimming pool which is perfect for doing a few lengths or just taking a relaxing dip. There is also a learner pool for the children.
Rothwell Leisure Centre is located on the roundabout where the A642 (Wakefield Road) and A639 (Methley Lane) meet. You’ll find the site opposite the Toby Carvery on the same roundabout. It’s easy to get to by car as it’s just a few minutes from the M62 (jct 30). If you are coming by bus then the 173A, 189, 410 and 574 routes all stop nearby. The closest train station is Woodlesford and it’s only a 5-minute taxi journey from there.

I've been to rothwell gym a couple of times now and it's a good gym it has plenty of equipment everything you need and it's a clean and tidy gym . It's small but still has lots of cardio equipment.

Nice gym with plenty of equipment, just bear in mind that pool is not open at same times as gym and when I went it was closed to the public for schools to use. Best check before you go if you want swimming.

I was pleasantly surprised by the gym at Rothwell sports centre, plenty of equipment and space to get a decent workout done. the changing rooms were a little basic but don't let that deter you.
