About this gym
Please note:
COVID-19 Updates:- No advance booking can be made for the gym, swim, sauna, steam room or classes. Please note, at busy times, customers may need to wait a short time before entry into the gym, should it be at capacity. For the pool, sauna, steam room & classes, drop in is possible but subject to whether there are spaces available at the time of visiting
- Upon entry, this club will have a QR code that can be scanned for Test and Trace purposes. Please ensure the NHS COVID-19 app is downloaded on your phone for checking in
- Please arrive "gym ready" and shower at home if possible. Changing rooms and showers are available but there is limited space
- Please wipe equipment before and after use
- Facemasks are to be worn throughout the venue apart from exercising. For avoidance of doubt, it should be worn when moving between equipment
- Towel hire and padlocks are no longer available, please bring your own
Welcome to Village Gym, located inside the modern and trendy Village Hotel in Edinburgh. Being part of the Village brand you can be sure that you will be getting access to the best equipment in order to reach your fitness goals.
The gym is equipped with a huge variety of state of the art Technogym equipment including cardio machines, resistance machines, a functional training rig, an extensive free weights section and a separate stretching area. This gym is very spacious so you’ll never feel as though you’re working out in someone else's space.
If you want to work out in a group class then there are plenty of these taking place every week at this gym including yoga, Les Mills and spin classes.
Away from the gym floor, you will find a 20m heated swimming pool which is perfect for a cool down after a intense workout. It can even become a workout in itself. If you want to relax and unwind then there is also a spa pool, sauna and steam room available.
The Hotel is located just off Ferry Road where the roundabout joins it with Telford Road. If you’re coming by bus then the 21 and 27 bus routes both stop right outside.

If I could give 10 stars I would ,although more expensive than other places in area , well worth it good parking, pool fantastic , temperature just right , and unlike some places in area the changing rooms are very clean a credit to the staff. A very enjoyable experience will definitely return.

Worst experience yet. I gave my code to the member of staff who abruptly told me that this was a one off code that had already been used last month. I then showed that this was a monthly code. They never told me I needed a locker key/fob and the changing room was too busy. Left after 5 minutes.

Lovely warm pool, shame the sauna was out of use. Also the same large group sat in and around the Jacuzzi for the 1.5 hours we were there resulting in us not being able to make use of it something the staff should maybe monitor as we were not the only customers not able to enjoy this.
