About this gym

Tryst Sports Centre is an excellent facility with modern equipment and friendly staff. The club will be able to cater for all of your health and fitness needs, whether you’re looking to get fit or to lose weight in the gym, in the pool or a combination of both! The gym has recently been refurbished and now houses 100 pieces of the latest Technogym cardiovascular and free weights equipment. The modern conditioning room has extensive resistance equipment. There is also an aerobics studio fitted with sound systems and large mirrors and an X-Bike room with 22 Technogym x-bikes for group cycling exercise classes. If the gym isn’t for you, or if you’re looking for a way of changing your workout, why not try the swimming facilities at Tryst Sports Centre? There are three pools, including the 25m, 6-lane main pool as well as an improver’s pool and a teaching pool. An extensive class timetable operates, including classes such as Zumba, Yoga, Body Combat and Insanity. Additional facilities at Tryst Sports Centre include a multi-purpose sports hall, squash courts, a crèche, a meeting and training room and a cafeteria. These extra facilities and classes are all available at an additional cost – for more information about availability and costs, please contact reception. It’s approximately an mile away from Cumbernauld train station and a variety of bus routes including 343 (Cumbernauld Town Centre – North Cardrain), X5, X5M, X5W and X25A (Abronhill – Glasgow) all stop close by. There is also free parking available on site.
