Please note that Hussle Monthly Passes are not suitable for University of Sussex students and staff. The Sport Centre fitness room includes the latest Discovery range from Life Fitness it includes three cross trainers, four treadmills, two Cybex Arcs, two Life Fitness bikes and twenty Schwinn top of the range spin bikes which complement the existing strength machines and two Concept 2 rowers. The cross trainers, treadmills and bikes include the usual technology in regards to access to TV, radio and iPod and android connectivity they also utilize Lfconnect with all machines now networked allowing you to record your workout through an online account. The treadmills also include on demand classes The resistance machines at the Sport Centre are suitable for all levels of user and are designed to allow circuit-based exercises. The gym now includes seven pieces of the Life Fitness Signature range covering all the major muscle groups plus two dual adjustable pulleys and a Smith machine. The Sports Centre fitness room also comprises a stretch/core area and a variety of dumbells, barbells, plyo boxes and kettlebells. To note the free weight offer is minimal with barbells up to 35kg, dumbells 20kg and kettlebells up to 30kg, however our second fitness facility at the Falmer Sports Complex encompasses a wide range of options and free weights. Please do ask at reception for more details if required Vending machines are also provided to energise yourself before, during and after your workout. Falmer train station is a stone throw away making this site easily accessible and it is on the 25 bus route. Parking is available weekdays and weekends if you stay for than an hour you must register your car at our reception using the desiganted tablet or you will be charged.
