The world of podcasts can be hard to navigate. Rising in popularity over the past few years, there’s now hundreds of thousands to explore. Every influencer and his dog now has a podcast. From awful to amazing and everything in between. It makes it hard to know what’s worth giving a go.

When it comes to health and fitness, we want the information to be insightful, educational, and accurate. With a little bit of entertainment thrown in too.

So whether it’s for your morning walk, part of your evening ritual, or for your travel time, here are some of our favourite health and fitness podcasts that are worth tuning in to.

The Power Hour

A podcast so successful, it’s gone on to become a book. Wellness professional and motivational speaker Adrienne Herbert’s Power Hour speaks to athletes, coaches, and creatives about their daily habits and practices. It’s a podcast inspired by her own morning routine of dedicating an hour to achieve something.

Mind Pump: Raw Fitness Truths

As a food as medicine pioneer who started these conversations way before I even thought of The Doctor’s Kitchen, Dr. Li has been a true inspiration of mine. . On this pod, we talk about The microbiota, how certain foods can improve your body’s ability to regulate sugar. What stem cells are and the different types of foods that can help promote regeneration. The difference between pro and anti-angiogenesis and why both are helpful and harmful depending on the circumstance and how food can positively help with both. The benefits of food for immune system support. The utility of combining epidemiology, lab studies, and human trials to determine which foods we should consume. The future of food prescriptions and how medicine could look in 10-15 years time. The impact of food to positively impact the efficacy of medicine in the field of cancer, cardiology, and neurology. . 🎙Today, we are joined by Dean Palmer a chartered accountant based in London with one of the large global accountancy firms. We dive into Career Development, travelling abroad with job security, and dealing with a career hurdle 👨🏼‍💼 ⠀ As you would expect we chat about Dean’s passion for fitness, shout out Zyzz, and learn a little bit about his early content creation on Youtube 🎥 ⠀ We then discuss his secondment to New Zealand, what drove his desire to do so, what he learned both within his career and outside of that. Importantly, Dean shared the new perspective he gained on exploring the outdoors, becoming a morning person, and how he treats his approach to fitness now 🏔 ⠀ Lastly, Dean opens up about the hard decision he had to make on return when presented with a hurdle in his career. Refreshingly, this should again be helpful for people in these uncertain times in learning how to put yourself in the position to make a considered choice while having confidence in your skillset and value to any employer and business 🤝 Who is tuning in? #TakeAction ———————————— #travelling #wanderlust #secondment #newzealand #nz #allblacks #kiwi #podcast #podcasting #newpodcast #podcastersofinstagram #podcastlife #podcastlifestyle #sundayfitness #fitnessuk #legday #quadsworkout #rise #travellingtheworld #travellingourplanet #backpacking #secondment #newzealandguide #newzealandlife #careerfocus #careercoach #careergoals
